Having raised three boys and been a preschool teacher forever, Maggie thought she could do anything. Then she asked to move to the Cottontail (infant) room when it opened! After the first week Maggie told us how much she was enjoying getting to know the Cottontails, but, wow, was it tiring!!
In all seriousness, Maggie recognizes the impact she makes daily on the infants in her care and strives to create relationships and facilitate experiences that allows our infants to learn and grow.
Maggie graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree that would now be called Child & Family Studies but was called Home Economics at the time. Being a life long learner, Maggie decided to return to school and earned her early childhood certificate from Pima Community College in 2010. She also participated in Project Best during the 2011-2012 school year in order to prepare for the Cottontail class opening.
In her free time Maggie runs a successful facepainting business and occassionally participates in slam poetry.
